Let's break it!

What this article is about?

For those who read something on $XIGM for the first time:

The company is called Xigem Technologies, their primary target - as stated - is the creation of a remote work ecosystem.

Now the main question is - HOW do they plan to do it. And a big part of the answer is - Xigem Platform (aka iAgent).

You have two options: you can go check out the patents (yes, they have patents on it) yourself:

Or choose a different path - I’ve actually read these patents so you don’t have to.

These are the key takeaways (from my POV)

What on earth is iAgent and Xigem Platform:

From a technical point of view, it’s an app. You can work with it on iOS/Android or use it in your browser. It's a SAAS (Software as a Service) solution, so all the technical problems will be off to the company's specialists, not the client's employees.

From what I see in the patents, it’s literally the Covillization V for businesses.

The description from the website looks IMO somewhat blurry:

"The application can be used to conveniently connect companies to consumers in all industries and manage their operations. iAgent will transform the way transportation, healthcare, education, food service, retail, manufacturing and many other sectors work."

You get the real understanding only when you read the patents.

What It Looks Like

The main dashboard is a Police dispatcher-style real-time map:

  • You can see all your units (aka employees) in their locations;
  • You can see their status: availability, work hours, destinations:
  • You can see their ongoing tasks status, list of completed tasks, ratings, and so on.

We don’t know yet, whether you can simply drag&drop your employees (I think it would be a fun function), but you can - at least -call/text them to assign a new task.

Where do you get that «new task»? You see it on the dashboard as well.

  • You can see all the incoming customers' calls or requests, take notes or check the provided details;
  • You can choose a client and send them your closest (or the most qualified) worker in an instant (or group your employees for more difficult tasks);
  • The closest available employee engages with a client (of course, they talk via the app server) and gets all the info to finish the task.

When your field unit is on site - you can control his work with:

  1. Timestamp photos;
  2. Customer signature;
  3. Live location updates.

So what it gives you as a business owner, why will people pay Xigem for it?

It would be a bad idea to just write here "gut feeling" - so here are some real reasons:

  • Aside from the full control over your current workflow, you (or a special man on your team) can take quick decisions;
  • Instead of having call center book appointments with a prospective client multiple days in advance, they would be able to direct a nearby employee to their home, reducing cancellations and no-shows that naturally occur when such appointments are booked.
  • As a nice addition, with a sufficient number of workers you can market your business with ASAP delivery guarantee claims. Say “We will do whatever you need in 30 minutes from your call” and actually stand for your word.

Why is it going to work?

Just my understanding:

1. It’s kind of unique;

So far, there are no all-purpose systems of this kind. Every business with a huge salesforce dreams of one, but those who create something in this field keep their solutions away from the market.

There are no UNIVERSAL apps that would fully implement SAAS format in this industry, and the demand is high. Xigem has two major clients who already WANT it, ISI and FluBusters

2. It can cut expenses;

Imagine that you don’t need to pay to a dozen call centre employees, you don’t need to pay to a whole logistics department (ok, maybe to a half of it), you don’t need to pay for a place to keep them all in, and you don’t need to pay for outsourcing. You have it all on your tablet.

3. It can increase revenue.

I mean, you don’t have to wait several days to send your man to the client. You can do it NOW and take more clients. If your manager/salesman/agent/specialist happens to be a few blocks away from a client - you can get money and provide them with the service needed NOW, with no need to delay it.

Xigem Platform aka iAgent aka The Platform kind of reminds me of this picture:

Just a few differences, though:

  1. Not 20 years later, but now;
  2. Not necessarily in your pocket, but on your laptop/iPad/desktop/whatever you want as well;
  3. It's a B2B solution for several booming markets, not just a device, and instead of technologies - the platform will replace a whole set of expensive routine business processes.

I won’t go full nuts to say «The future is now, old man». it's not about emotions, and I’m actually old enough to remember how the stuff in the picture works (and how to fix half of it).

P.S. They didn’t develop Xigem Platform from scratch, they acquired it. The thing already works. It means that the alpha test that they have scheduled in May is going to be a success and a major catalyst that will shoot the stock - $XIGM - up.
